Alana De La Garza has earned a reputation on the television. In the year 1976, De La Garza was born to a Mexican-American father and an Irish-American mother in Columbus Ohio. Within a short time she was moving to Texas and pursued her degree in physical therapy at the University of Texas. De La Garza moved from Texas to Orlando Florida and took on different roles as an actor in independent local films, as well as worldwide commercials. Even the small roles did not stop her from discovering she loved acting. Then she moved from New York and in 2001 she landed her first role in the soap opera daytime All My Children as Rosa Santos. Throughout the first decade of 2000, she played tiny roles in JAG Las Vegas and Two and a Half Men. Her first major part came in the year 2004 on the short film The Mountain. De La Garza starred as Maria Serrano alongside top TV actors like Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson Penn Badgley, Anson Mount and Mitch Pileggi. The role that she is most well-known for is her A.D.A. character in Law & Order (2006). Connie Rubirosa. She was on screen for 85 episodes. In the following seasons, she was a part of her role in the Law & Order: LA short-lived sequel. De La Garza has been recognized several times for her character, among them Best Supporting Actress in Television in the Imagen Foundation Awards. In addition, the National Hispanic Media Coalition awarded her with the Impact Award, which is given for outstanding performances in the drama show. In the next few days, De La Garza was cast on CSI Miami in a recurring role. She was Marisol Delko's wife and David Caruso's character Horatio Caine. The most recent television appearance was in the role of Dr. Lena Solis on NBC's mildly dark show Do No Harm. The show was canceled after just two episodes. Milano. She is Italian and has a 10 year old younger brother who is named Cory. She was raised in a family that was conservative and very religious. Milano started her acting career when she was seven years old. The babysitter took her along for an audition for her very first time. Milano was among four girls chosen from more than 1,000 aspirants. Milano was featured in television advertisements, off-Broadway productions and Jane Eyre, the American debut of Jane Eyre.
