Selena Gomez, an actress and a singer with a huge following internationally. She is the star of Disney show Wizards of Waverly Place is one of her most successful shows. The full name of Selena Marie Gomez is Selena Marie Gomez. Her birth date was July 22 of 1992 at Grand Prairie Texas. Amanda Cornett and Ricardo Gomez were the parents of Selena. Her mother was barely 16 when Selena was born. She got her first acting job as a showbiz actress at the age of 9 when she played Gianna on Barney and her Friends. The role was to be one of the youngsters who had the chance to play with the world's most famous human-like dinosaur in the form of a purple. Selena participated in a number of episodes from episodes 7 and 8 between 2001 and2003. Selena wasn't the only performer who appeared in Barney as well as His Friends during that time.
